 Arnfield Care is able to offer to the highest quality outdoor education programmes: facilitating experiential learning, promoting confidence, self belief and personal achievement. Young people are given opportunity to take part in a wide selection of outdoor pursuits under the expert guidance of our highly qualified, motivated and enthusiastic instructors. The outdoor education programme is underpinned by one of the broadest Adventure Activities Licences in the United Kingdom.
The outdoor education programme allows young people to develop a wide range of skills, broaden life experiences and develop trust through teamwork. Personal development and achievement are encouraged and recognised using the Assessment and Qualification Alliance (AQA) – unit award scheme and the Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN) - adventure and residential award.
Many of the home’s activities are adventurous, physical endeavours. These activities can be challenging and arduous but are designed to offer opportunity to attain personal achievement and success, so building self-esteem and confidence, through new and exciting experiences.
